In each Department of University of Thessaly an Academic Counselor has been designated. The Academic Counselors mediate between the Accessibility Center for individuals with disabilities and the Department and have an advisory role for members of the student community with disabilities and/or special educational needs and for the teaching staff of their Department on accessibility issues. They also participate in the meetings of the Accessibility Center and inform about accessibility issues in their Department.
