The Accessibility Center for individuals with disabilities at the University of Thessaly includes an interdisciplinary group of people, the staff of the Accessibility Center, with studies related to the services it provides.
Also, the Committee of the Accessibility Center for individuals with disabilities, consists of 9 members of the University of Thessaly and is an advisory body of the University of Thessaly and has as its mission the submission of recommendations to the competent bodies for the formulation and implementation of the policy of equal access for persons with disabilities and persons with special educational needs.
Also, in each Department of the University of Thessaly an Academic counselor has been appointed. The Academic counselors mediate between the Accessibility Center for individuals with disabilities and the Department.
In the Secretariat of each Department of the Schools of UTH, at least one dsignated employee has been appointed to serve students with disabilities and/or special educational needs.
The Accessibility Center’s members are:
